In the ever-evolving landscape of commercial electric vehicles, paper specifications no longer suffice to convince demanding users. The Farizon SV has recently undergone intense real-world testing, validating its capabilities under extreme conditions in two different locations – the UK and China.

Rigorous Trials in Diverse Environments



The testing involved a five-day terrain challenge in the UK and a high-altitude endurance test along the challenging Qinghai-Gansu loop in China. These rigorous trials aimed to assess how the Farizon SV would perform in low temperatures, persistent rain, and different types of roads. The results were astonishing, proving that the SV's range exceeded the expectations set by its manufacturer across two continents.

UK EV Rally: Unmatched Efficiency



In early September, the Farizon SV was put to the test during one of the toughest EV range expeditions, the GREENFLEET Explorer EV Rally. The test spanned five days, beginning in Newquay, Cornwall, through various picturesque but challenging terrains, and ending in Knutsford, Cheshire. Each vehicle covered an average distance of 1,043 miles (approximately 1,678 km), switching between motorways, rural roads, and urban streets.

Despite demanding conditions and varied weather, the energy efficiency of two of the tested variants outperformed their official WLTP ratings. A third variant, the L1H1, maintained an impressive range fulfillment of 92.5%. The top-tier L3H3 model, equipped with a 106 kWh battery, achieved an energy efficiency of 2.402 miles/kWh, exceeding the WLTP rating by nearly 10%.

High-Altitude Testing in China



Simultaneously, another Farizon SV set out on a high-altitude endurance trial along the Qinghai-Gansu route. This challenging course covered 462 km, combining 100 km of highway with over 300 km of rugged backroads, ascending to a maximum elevation of 4,500 meters. The feedback from this exhaustive test was equally impressive.

Fully loaded with three occupants and 368 kg of luggage, while maintaining a comfortable cabin temperature of 26 °C, the vehicle demonstrated remarkable range performance throughout the journey. During the test, the SV achieved an 82.5% range fulfillment, validating its reliability in the toughest global conditions.
