Epics DAO Unveils Multi-Attribute NFT Cards

Epics DAO, led by CEO Fumitake Kawasaki and based in Amsterdam, has launched a new suite of multi-attribute NFT cards in their Alpha Series. This innovative offering aims to tackle persistent challenges in open-source software development, such as resource shortages and insufficient rewards for maintainers. By leveraging the mechanisms of Web3, Epics DAO provides a fresh approach to these longstanding issues.

A New Approach to Funding Open Source

Epics DAO recognizes that existing models often fall short in maintaining sustainable funding for open-source projects. Through their platform, they have devised a value circulatory model that encourages participation from developers, supporters, and communities alike. This model combines the minting of limited collaboration NFT cards with a trading card game ecosystem, fostering a more engaging and supportive environment for open-source initiatives.

Features of the NFT Trading Card Game

Players can build decks using 40 unique NFT cards and enjoy rated matches. The NFT cards are obtained randomly from card packs, delivering a blend of collectibility and strategic gaming experience. Alongside partnerships with various projects and the Builders Collective, the game will also host official tournaments where players can earn sponsor-exclusive NFTs and commemorative cards.

Introduction of Multi-Attribute Cards

Currently being showcased are 11 selected multi-attribute cards from three packs under the Builders Guild series. Each card's cost is provided in Japanese characters alongside its rarity and prayer energy which represents the main color out of multiple attributes or special magic energies.

Perks for BDLC NFT Holders

Both the Epics DAO and Validators DAO are partnering to offer free, permanent access to a paid Solana RPC for BDLC NFT holders. This initiative significantly lowers the entry barriers for developers in the Web3 space, allowing more developers to participate confidently in their projects. Additionally, exclusive gacha events are available in the Validators DAO official Discord for BDLC holders, and there are plans to release an ERPC Subscription NFT.
