MiTAC Unveils Groundbreaking AI Solutions at NVIDIA GTC 2026 Show
MiTAC's Pioneering AI Solutions at NVIDIA GTC 2026
In a bold stride towards the future of artificial intelligence, MiTAC Computing Technology Corporation took center stage at the much-anticipated NVIDIA GTC 2026 event held in San Jose, California. Known for its high-performance server solutions, MiTAC’s mission is clear— to empower enterprises with next-generation AI technology that is both flexible and efficient.
The event's theme, 'Enterprise AI, Flexible by Design', encapsulates MiTAC's initiatives as they unveil their latest innovations in AI server technology, primarily leveraging the robust NVIDIA MGX architecture. Attendees at Booth #100 were treated to a first-look at MiTAC’s groundbreaking turnkey AI solutions, designed to meet the growing demands of modern data centers.
Collaboration with Industry Titans
At GTC 2026, MiTAC spotlighted its collaborations with several industry giants including AMD, Intel, DDN, and Micron. This strategic alignment has enabled MiTAC to push the boundaries of accelerated computing and develop AI infrastructure that supports intricate workloads such as AI training, inference, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
Among the most exciting announcements was the enhanced AI Infrastructure Management Platform, which integrates MiTAC's advanced hardware with governance software from Rafay. This partnership aims to simplify the management of extensive containerized environments, allowing organizations to effectively orchestrate Kubernetes deployments. Haseeb Budhani, CEO of Rafay, highlighted how their collaboration aims to alleviate the complexities associated with modern AI, ultimately promoting efficient scaling of AI workloads.
Feature-Rich AI Hardware
A standout product revealed at the conference was MiTAC’s Next-gen G Series High-throughput 4U AI Powerhouse, built on the NVIDIA MGX reference design. This powerful server boasts a dual-socket configuration, enabling compatibility with the latest generation of AMD EPYC processors and up to eight double-width GPUs. This design isn’t merely about raw power—it's crafted for flexibility, accommodating both NVIDIA RTX PRO models and even the latest NVIDIA H200 GPU solutions.
Additionally, MiTAC emphasizes performance and efficiency through its integration with Micron® NVMe SSDs and high-speed networking options powered by NVIDIA ConnectX-8 SuperNICs. Such features are tailored for extensive Generative AI training, promising to deliver high throughput and low latency crucial for today’s AI-driven enterprises.
Turnkey Solutions for AI Challenges
Addressing the intricate needs of multimodal RAG pipelines, MiTAC also announced its partnership with DDN, which paves the way for high-speed AI inferencing solutions. By combining DDN's Infinia technology with MiTAC's high-performance servers, enterprises can enhance GPU utilization while minimizing data movement, thus maintaining optimal throughput for demanding AI tasks.
This ambitious architecture is further supplemented by the R1917GC management server. This setup is designed to maximize efficiency and can operate as a Kubernetes control node, ensuring seamless integration across different layers of AI infrastructure, from core to edge.
Robust Data Solutions
As AI systems require robust storage solutions, MiTAC unveiled the GC68A-B8056 storage server, a high-density platform that can support extensive data handling needs. Featuring 24 DIMM slots and 12 NVMe U.2 drive bays, it accommodates the increasing data demands of AI workloads while also providing flexibility and efficiency in data management.
Rick Hwang, President of MiTAC Computing, expressed enthusiasm about their mission, stating, "Through our strategic partnerships with Rafay and DDN, MiTAC delivers comprehensive, turnkey AI infrastructure that addresses the entire lifecycle of training, inference, and RAG applications."
