For particles that pose challenges for HPLC separation, Shoko Science will showcase the `Envision` from Hyperion Analytical LLC. This technology utilizes Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA), allowing for particle size distribution measurement and quantitative analysis of nanoparticles with outstanding accuracy.

2. Detection and Identification of Insoluble Microparticles

Another highlight includes the introduction of `xSight` by Spheryx, Inc., utilizing total holographic analysis. This system is adept at not only identifying protein aggregates but also differentiating between various oil droplets, such as silicone oil and free fatty acids, commonly found in injectable formulations. This capability significantly enhances quality evaluation of formulations, which was a challenge with traditional methodology.
