Great American Media Unveils New Partnerships and Original Content

As the 2025-2026 Upfront season begins, Great American Media (GAM) is positioning itself as a strong alternative in the competitive media landscape. With a commitment to family-friendly programming, GAM is enhancing its appeal to advertisers by presenting more effective ways to engage with viewers. This year, the company celebrates significant audience growth alongside a slate of premium original programming and fresh technology partnerships.

GAM has entered into a groundbreaking collaboration with Audyns, an innovative platform designed to bridge the gap between agencies and independent TV networks through a centralized, data-driven program. This partnership ensures that GAM’s data-driven linear (DDL) solution, known as GAM Connect, is now integrated with Audyns. Advertisers can take advantage of a streamlined, data-backed approach for planning, purchasing, and measuring campaigns within trusted content environments, making it easier to connect with engaged audiences.

By leveraging Audyns’ centralized platform, which is powered by datafuelX and integrated with recognized analytics tools such as Nielsen, VideoAmp, and OpenAP, GAM is enhancing its value proposition. This integration aims to bring clarity and efficiency to advertisers pursuing high-quality, engaged audience segments without the complexity often associated with media purchasing.

Bill Abbott, the President and CEO of Great American Media, noted, “Partnering with Audyns aligns with our mission to deliver trusted, high-quality content to audiences while providing advertisers with smart, scalable solutions.” This partnership is depicted as a mutual strengthening of both entities, granting brands better access to GAM’s dedicated viewers while allowing the network to compete more effectively in an ever-evolving media environment.

In recent years, GAM has recorded substantial achievements, notably breaking into the Top 25 cable networks for the first time in Q4 of 2025. This success can be attributed to an audience-first programming strategy, which emphasizes the importance of catering to viewer preferences, especially during special programming events like the increasingly popular Great American Christmas.

Kristen Roberts, CFO and EVP of Programming at GAM, highlighted the network's enduring commitment to family-oriented content. “Our focus on family-friendly programming not only fosters viewer loyalty but also offers advertisers an exceptional opportunity to connect with an expanding audience. With our increasing array of original content, brands have more ways to engage meaningfully with viewers.”

The lineup for the 2025-2026 Upfront season is impressive, featuring:

  • - GAM Connect: Now part of the collaboration with Audyns, this DDL solution allows for more insightful advertising strategies, paving the way for improved market effectiveness.
  • - Audience Growth: Notably, Nielsen data indicates that Great American Family is among the few networks boasting year-over-year audience growth in key demographics, with notable double-digit increases in Q4 2024.
  • - Premium Originals: A strong slate of original programming, including fan-favorites like _Crossroad Springs_ and _County Rescue_, alongside marquee events such as the Rose Parade, bolsters the network's appeal.

More than just original programming, GAM emphasizes the importance of proven brand integrations. Several ongoing partnerships serve as evidence that strategic collaborations in a trusted media environment yield positive advertising results. The upcoming Christmas lineup features beloved personalities like Candace Cameron Bure and Mario Lopez, enhancing GAM's reputation for heartwarming original holiday movies.

Roberts emphasized that GAM is dedicated to building a lasting relationship with families, stating, “We’re not chasing trends; instead, we’re cultivating something meaningful for families.
