Ethic Lights 2025 Toyama Castle Projection Mapping Event
On May 24 and 25, 2025, Toyama Castle will host a groundbreaking projection mapping event, produced by Hitohata Inc. This will mark the first time this historical landmark, recognized as a national tangible cultural asset, will be illuminated by such vibrant digital art.
The event is organized under the auspices of RINRI PROJECT - TEAM ETHICS LIGHTS, with support from the City of Toyama and local media partners. This unique experience is set to showcase digital artistry that highlights the beauty of local culture. Expect to see stunning visuals that incorporate motifs such as phoenixes, traditional crafts from Toyama, and the prefectural flower—tulips.
Interestingly, participation does not require prior registration, and entry is completely free, making it accessible for all. The projection mapping will be displayed alongside other activities, including food vendors featuring cafes and food trucks, as well as a dance event to enhance the overall experience.
This event also serves a greater purpose: it aims to bring encouragement and hope for recovery following the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that struck in 2024. Attendees are invited to come together and witness the majestic projection mapping that will add vibrance to the nighttime scene at Toyama Castle.
