Minon’s Skin Care Workshops: A Fun Learning Experience for Preschoolers
Minon, a brand under Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare specializing in sensitive skin care, has initiated a creative project titled “Supporting Sensitive Periods: Gentle Care for Skin and Hearts.” This initiative features engaging workshops titled “Traveling Skin Care Class: Minon Picture Book Reading Session.” Scheduled for October 24, 2025, at the Associe Kakinoki Nursery in Meguro, Tokyo, and November 27, 2025, at the Azamino Shirayuri Kindergarten in Yokohama, Kanagawa, these workshops aim to impart the importance of gentle body washing to approximately 300 preschoolers in a fun and interactive manner.
Background of the Project
The project was launched in 2023 to support individuals facing sensitive skin periods. With an emphasis on nurturing both skin and mental well-being, Minon has organized various events for parenting generations, including experiences that help them feel closer to skin care routines. Additionally, the original picture book titled "Awa Awa Moko Moko Niko Niko Non" was created and distributed to make learning about gentle washing enjoyable for kids with sensitive skin.
The picture book serves as a tool for creating a fun environment while teaching the delicate art of washing. This initiative reflects Minon's commitment to providing support and confidence for sensitive skin and its caregivers.
The Skin Care Workshop Experience
The creativity of the "Traveling Skin Care Class" workshops shines through the activities designed for the children. Through aids such as reading sessions featuring Minon’s original picture book, hands-on play, and dance theatre activities, children are guided in experiencing the process of gentle washing through movement. The workshops are designed to ensure that even the youngest participants grasp the concept of self-care and hygiene.
