The store embodies the concept of "Connecting the World and the Future—A Base for Japanese Beauty and Ideas." More than 400 curated treasures from across Japan will be showcased, blending a Select Shop with a Café & Bar curated by local tea farmers from Saga Prefecture. Perfectly positioned just a three-minute walk from Asakusa Station and two minutes from Senso-ji Temple, the store is strategically located to welcome visitors from around the globe. The historic district of Asakusa, known for its rich cultural backdrop, makes for an ideal site to introduce international travelers to the nuances of Japanese culture.

ENGAWA ASAKUSA aims to present "Japanese culture as an experience" through collaboration with local artisans and regional brands. The café & bar will introduce a refreshing take on Japanese tea, featuring a menu supervised by Soejimaen, a prestigious tea farm in Ureshino, Saga. The Select Shop


ENGAWA ASAKUSA will also serve as a Select Shop, showcasing award-winning products recognized by the OMOTENASHI Selection program. Offering a diverse range of regional delicacies and crafts, this shop will curate the best of Japan for its visitors. Approximately 400 carefully selected products from 40 brands will be available at launch, with seasonal updates to keep the experience fresh and engaging.
