EventPipe Foundation Initiative Aims to Enhance Youth Sports Accessibility

On April 16, 2026, EventPipe unveiled its latest initiative—the EventPipe Foundation. This new organization is committed to improving access to youth sports by addressing the financial challenges that hinder many underprivileged children from participating in athletic programs.

Youth sports in the United States are facing significant hurdles, with many families unable to afford the rising costs associated with participation. As a result, millions of children find themselves sidelined, missing out on the opportunities that sports can provide. The EventPipe Foundation aims to tackle this issue head-on by forming a partnership with Every Kid Sports, a national nonprofit focused on removing financial barriers for kids wishing to engage in sports activities.

Founded in 2009, Every Kid Sports works tirelessly to create an equitable environment in youth sports by providing grants that cover registration fees and equipment costs. In this new collaboration, EventPipe Foundation leverages its platform to amplify fundraising efforts. Tim Brown, CEO of EventPipe, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, “Access to sports shouldn't depend on a family's financial situation. With the EventPipe Foundation, we're connecting the scale of youth sports travel with a simple way to give back. Every event, every stay has the potential to make a difference.”

EventPipe has already made significant strides in its mission. Earlier this year, during the Clearwater Invitational Softball Tournament hosted by ESPN Events, the company donated to CFY Pinellas to support local youth scholarships and programs. This is just the start of a willful movement to ensure no child is deprived of the invaluable life skills and community connections that arise from athletic participation.

Eleana Fanaika, Executive Director of Every Kid Sports, echoed the excitement surrounding this partnership, noting, “We’re thrilled to work alongside EventPipe to expand access to youth sports. By connecting travel and events with funding, we can ensure that every kid gets the chance to play.”

The EventPipe Foundation aims to create lasting change through its approach of combining community engagement with financial support. The organization is dedicated to removing the fees and logistical obstacles that stand in the way of youth enjoying sports, thereby promoting well-being and developmental growth.
