On The Waves of Love), starring Kyoko Yoshine and Hiroya Honda. In second place is
"119エマージェンシーコール" (
119 Emergency Call), led by Nana Seino. Finally, the nostalgic series

1st Place: On The Waves of Love
In
On The Waves of Love, set against the backdrop of Japan in 1936, we follow Natsumi, portrayed by Kyoko Yoshine, as she starts her newlywed life with her husband, a naval officer played by Hiroya Honda. The narrative explores their 'marriage with zero days of dating' concept, captivating viewers with the tenderness and sometimes frustrating distance between the couple while showcasing a warm depiction of pre-war Japan's daily life.
2nd Place: 119 Emergency Call
119 Emergency Call revolves around the intense environment of a fire department's command center. The series highlights the heroes who keep lives safe through the power of voice. Nana Seino plays Yuki Kasuhara, a control operator known for her extraordinary ability to never forget a voice. The show doesn’t just present dramatized emergencies but also brings a high degree of realism thanks to the collaboration with the Yokohama Fire Department, setting it apart as an intense watch.
3rd Place: The Second to Last Love Story
Making a long-awaited return,
The Second to Last Love Story reintroduces audiences to Chiharu, played by Kyoko Koizumi, and Waki, portrayed by Takashi Nakai.
