Event Details

The Second Physical Assessment and Sports Experience Event is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the BumB Tokyo Sports Culture Center located in Koto City. Participants will undergo physical testing in the morning and engage in multiple sports options in the afternoon. This is a fantastic opportunity for those aged 10 to 45 who wish to challenge themselves in parasports, regardless of whether they possess an official disability certificate.

A Range of Sports to Experience

Participants can look forward to trying out approximately 25 different sports, including but not limited to:

• - Archery
• - Athletics (for individuals with intellectual disabilities)
• - Badminton
• - Blind Soccer
• - Canoeing
• - Wheelchair Basketball
• - Adaptive Surfing
• - Para Swimming (for individuals with physical, intellectual, or visual disabilities)

This varied program caters to everyone—from those aiming for international competitions to beginners interested in parasports. The first step toward discovery begins with this initiative, where we hope to celebrate the athletes who have competed in the Tokyo 2020 Parasympic Games and the upcoming Paris 2024 Games.

Who Can Participate?

The program is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
1. A clear desire to engage in competitive sports.
2. Reside, attend school, or work in Tokyo.
3. Currently aged between 10 to 45 by the end of fiscal year 2023.
4. Experience any type of disability, including physical, visual, intellectual, or hearing impairments.
