NADA NEWS Launches 2026 Web3 Senryu Contest
NADA NEWS, one of Japan's leading Web3 media outlets and formerly known as
CoinDesk JAPAN, has officially announced the commencement of the
'2026 Web3 Senryu Contest', inviting submissions from both enthusiasts and professionals until
May 7, 2026. The contest aims to capture the evolving landscape of digital assets, particularly as we witness significant changes within the industry following a tumultuous year both in terms of market fluctuations and regulatory developments.
Background
The past year in the Web3 space has been marked by high volatility and numerous shifts that extend beyond price changes alone. While
Bitcoin reached an all-time high early last year, its momentum waned as the year progressed, making it a year marked by patience for many investors and enthusiasts alike. In contrast, the launch of the first yen-backed stablecoin,
JPYC, in October opened new doors for the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), showcasing how the use cases for digital assets continue to expand.
To capture this evolving environment and engage the community, NADA NEWS is reintroducing the
Web3 Senryu Contest, which had garnered considerable interest and participation in previous years. This competition encourages participants to express their thoughts, reflections, or commentary on the current state or future potential of Web3 in the form of Senryu—a traditional Japanese form of poetry that is often humorous or satirical.
How to Participate
Participants can submit their entries in one of two ways:
1.
Via X (formerly Twitter):
