The city of Shenzhen, known as China's Silicon Valley, recently hosted the 2026 Amos International Candy Festival, where distributors, creators, industry leaders, and partners from almost 50 countries gathered for three days of joy, innovation, and collaboration. As a global confectionery innovator, Amos Food Group showcased how sweets can connect people, cultures, and communities, solidifying its dual role in bringing health and happiness through delightful experiences.

A Sweet Carnival Experience

The festival kicked off with the Amos International Candy Carnival, transforming Shenzhen Talent Park into a whimsical world filled with candy-themed interactive experiences from AMOS and Biobor. Attendees enjoyed performances, parades featuring beloved characters, and innovative installations that delighted the senses. Founder and CEO, Amos Ma, officially opened the festival, which was highlighted by a breathtaking drone show illuminating the skyline with candy-inspired visuals, echoing the message that Amos treats the world to sweets. The carnival invited consumers to engage with confections through taste, play, and creativity, nurturing a community around the joy of sweets.

Insights into Happiness and Health

Another significant aspect of the festival was the World Candy Forum, which gathered experts from science, market research, confectionery, nutrition, and retail to explore two enduring consumer demands: happiness and health. Key insights shared by NielsenIQ and Innova Market Insights spotlighted shifting global market and consumer trends. Esteemed speakers, including Audra Vogler from NCSA and Nobel Laureate Professor Aaron Ciechanover, discussed how happiness and health could shape the future of the global candy industry. The forum also introduced the Double H Global Sweet Value Co-Creation initiative, aimed at fostering deeper product innovations, stricter quality standards, and sustainable growth, further extending Amos's role as a sweet innovator within the confectionery ecosystem.

A Vision for Long-term Growth

During the Global Distributor Conference, Amos Ma outlined the sustainable innovation mechanisms of the Amos Food Group. He emphasized five core innovation methodologies: Six Senses innovation, scenario innovation, cross-border innovation, AI innovation, and functional nutrition innovation. New product lines were unveiled, including AMOS Creative Candy and Biobor Nutritional Gummies, promising exciting adventures in taste with creations such as To-yah Doodle Egg and ZestPuck, which intertwine candy with playful experiences.
