Confetti August Issue Features Talents and Exciting Interviews
On July 7, 2025, the latest issue of the theatrical magazine
Confetti will be released, bringing you closer to the world of entertainment. Published by Long Run Planning Co., Ltd. in Shinjuku, Tokyo, this issue (Vol. 247) will be distributed at over 1,500 locations, primarily in the greater Tokyo area, including theaters, shops, and stations.
Guided by the principle of making entertainment more accessible,
Confetti has been a staple for theater enthusiasts since its inception in 2004. Each month, the magazine presents engaging interviews with current talents, exclusive reader-only ticket offers, and lively columns covering a wide range of live performances—from dramas and musicals to traditional arts and concerts.
Cover Stars of the Month
This month's issue features the cover with
Yamada Kuniko,
Yamazou Kaori, and
Hashimoto Shohei from the inaugural performance of "Janis" by
Room NO.925. The unit, formed by Yamada Kuniko and producer Toshiyuki Namba after a 22-year hiatus, is set to deliver an intriguing new play. Their dynamic collaboration has sparked a lot of excitement, and we caught up with them to discuss their hopes for this performance.
Additionally,
Miho Sakoda from the
Fujiwara Opera Company will be featured, playing the lead role of Violetta in Verdi’s classic
