Unveiling the Future of Sustainability: The 9th Car Recycling Contest Awards Ceremony
On March 25, 2026, the
9th Car Recycling Contest culminated in a remarkable awards ceremony at the Kuruma Plaza Conference Room in Minato, Tokyo. Organized by the
Japan Automobile Recycling Promotion Center, this initiative aims to deepen understanding among elementary school students regarding the significance of automobile recycling in promoting a circular economy. This year, the contest received an astounding
15,915 entries, featuring slogans and posters centered on the theme of automobile recycling. A rigorous selection process led to the recognition of
32 winning entries in various categories and
15 participating schools. Each category's top winners were honored with certificates and prizes, celebrating their creative contributions to raising awareness about this critical environmental issue.
Among the highlights of the ceremony was the appearance of special judge
Yoshio Kojima, a well-known comedian in Japan, who engaged the audience with his humor and warmth. During the event, he personally awarded the recipients of the
