Apollo and Securitize Unveil Tokenized Access to Credit Fund across Multiple Blockchains

Partnership Announcement

In a significant move towards democratizing access to private market investment opportunities, Securitize, a leader in tokenizing real-world assets, has partnered with Apollo (NYSE: APO). This collaboration has led to the launch of the Apollo Diversified Credit Securitize Fund (ACRED), which provides tokenized access to the Apollo Diversified Credit Fund. This fund employs a varied global credit strategy, focusing on corporate direct lending, asset-backed lending, and structured credit investments.

ACRED's Features

ACRED is available across multiple blockchain networks including Aptos, Avalanche, Ethereum, Ink, Polygon, and Solana. Its Ethereum ecosystem support is complemented by partnerships with platform providers such as Etherealize, alongside significant investments from giants like Coinbase Asset Management and Kraken.

This groundbreaking initiative allows investors to access the Apollo Diversified Credit Fund through a robust on-chain product, streamlining operational processes in a fully digital format. The structure of ACRED allows for native redemptions at a daily net asset value (NAV), creating a more flexible investment environment for participants.

Enhanced Liquidity and Access

By leveraging its official interoperability partner, Wormhole, Securitize has ensured that tokens can move smoothly across different blockchain ecosystems. This feature is crucial for enhancing liquidity and accessibility for investors. Qualified investors interested in participating in ACRED can do so exclusively via Securitize Markets, LLC, the broker-dealer subsidiary of Securitize, which also acts as ACRED's digital transfer agent and fund administrator.

Earl Hunt, Partner at Apollo and President of the Apollo Diversified Credit Fund, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, "This milestone moves us closer to making private markets more accessible and efficient. ACRED offers diversified exposure to a variety of corporate and asset-backed credit products."

Future Implications for Tokenization

Apollo Partner Christine Moy highlighted the significance of this tokenization process, noting its potential for broader access to private markets through innovative product structures. Moy remarked, "We believe ACRED is already attracting interest from both institutional and retail investors. We are excited about the prospect of building new digital asset ecosystems and shaping the future of investment."

The interest in tokenized assets, especially in fixed income sectors like private credit, has surged. As Carlos Domingo, Co-founder and CEO of Securitize, pointed out, Apollo's authority in private credit solidifies their partnership as a key player in unlocking additional opportunities for investors in this domain.
