A New Era Begins: Vertigineux Reopens at tmh.
On June 6, 2025, the renowned jewelry brand tmh. will unveil its freshly renovated art space, rebranding the former gallery L’INTERIEUR to
Vertigineux≠tmh. This transformation aims to foster a vibrant community for artists and visitors alike.
Founded in 2014 in Ebisu, tmh. has consistently strived to create pieces that encapsulate the human experience across time. The revamped art space will serve as a platform for various artistic expressions through exhibitions, workshops, and creative endeavors, encouraging collaboration among diverse individuals and families.
The inaugural project will feature a solo exhibition titled
“Red Horse, White Horse” by painter
Maihi, running from June 6 to June 29. This exhibition is bound to captivate audiences with its exploration of equestrian themes and the transcendence of time and space through art.
In coordination with this exhibition, tmh. will also debut a new jewelry collection named
“pneuma II,” inspired by a terracotta horse sculpture from Roman times. The collection embodies the spirit of individuality and is set to mesmerize art and jewelry enthusiasts alike. Here’s a sneak peek of the pieces:
- - Pendant Left: 10K_small priced at ¥148,500 (tax included)
- - Pendant Right: 925SV_large at ¥46,200 (tax included)
- - 925SV_small at ¥27,500 (tax included)
This collection is not just jewelry; it's an art form that connects history with modern aesthetics, reinforcing tmh.’s mission to redefine beauty for a new era.
The Art of Maihi
Maihi, born in Tokyo and residing in Kamakura, will have her artistic vision on display throughout the exhibition. Her work pays homage to the graceful spirit of horses, which have been companions to humanity through various aspects of life—from harvests to battles and recreation. The
“Red Horse, White Horse” exhibition is a celebration of this relationship, showcasing paintings that resonate with the themes of time, space, and existence.
“Through the beautiful forms of horses, I wish to depict the transcendence of time and space. My hope is that my creations can gently accompany the jewelry that embodies small eternities,” shares Maihi.
Workshops and Engagements
In addition to art displays,
Vertigineux≠tmh. will facilitate workshops and opportunities for the public to engage with artists directly. Participants can contribute to creating original ema for good fortune and exchange ideas with Maihi in a creative atmosphere. Scheduled for June 21 from 1 PM to 3 PM, this workshop encourages attendees to express their thoughts and desires for the future through art, culminating in visually striking ema that will last for generations. The participation fee is ¥10,000 (material costs included).
A Vision for the Future
