AITO Unveils Global Debut at IAA MOBILITY 2025



AITO, the premium electric vehicle brand under SERES Group, recently made a grand entrance at IAA MOBILITY 2025 in Munich, presenting a compelling lineup that aims to redefine luxury in the intelligent vehicle era. With an impressive array of new Middle Eastern variants of the AITO 9, AITO 7, and AITO 5, the brand showcased its commitment to pushing the boundaries of smart mobility, infusing intelligence into every aspect of luxury transportation.

A Strategic Global Vision



Leon He, President of SERES AUTO, emphasized AITO's ambition to establish itself as a glocal brand. He expressed, "Today, we are unveiling our truly globalized product lineup and setting a new strategic milestone in our globalization journey." This move reflects AITO’s ambition to define 'new luxury' supported by cutting-edge technologies and a strong foothold in the Chinese market, where they have seen cumulative sales surpassing 770,000 units by August 2025.

Highlighting the success of the AITO 9, which has emerged as the leading luxury SUV model in its price segment in China, AITO's innovations demonstrate a thorough understanding of diverse customer needs. The AITO 9 has notably sold over 230,000 units and has dominated the ¥500,000 luxury segment for 17 consecutive months. This performance showcases AITO's strategic focus on meeting high standards and its capability to capture the imagination of sophisticated consumers.

Tailored Solutions for the Middle East



The brand’s entry into the Middle Eastern market is marked by the introduction of variants specifically designed for local preferences, including features such as a smart cockpit with trilingual interaction in Chinese, English, and Arabic. These models have been rigorously tested in extreme desert conditions to ensure they meet the unique demands of the environment, ensuring a high level of performance and safety.

All three AITO models recently received market entry certification in the UAE, and the company is in the final stages of validation for its intelligent driving assistance technology, which has gained substantial recognition in China. By August 2025, AITO users had accumulated over 3.45 billion kilometers in assisted driving distances, serving approximately 621,000 customers.

AITO firmly believes that establishing a subsidiary in the UAE is a pivotal move in its global strategy. This will involve launching its complete model lineup and creating a localized service ecosystem that enhances customer engagement. To streamline operations, AITO is also developing a localized supply chain based in Dubai, which will enable rapid delivery and efficient after-sales support, ensuring that users enjoy a seamless experience.

Innovative Technology Showcases



At IAA MOBILITY 2025, AITO is not only showcasing its models but also unveiling some of its core technologies. Notably, the SERES 5th-Gen Super Range-Extender System is making its international debut. Engineered for high efficiency and quiet operation, this system exemplifies AITO's commitment to innovative mobility solutions. Additionally, the AITO MF Platform, recognized as the first in the industry to support three distinct energy systems—super range-extended electric, battery electric, and ultra hybrid—highlights the brand's technological advancements.

Visitors to the Munich Exhibition Center from September 8 to 12, 2025, can explore AITO's vision of the future of intelligent luxury mobility at Stand D40 in Hall B3.
