Discover the Éclats d’Automne at Tokugawaen Garden Restaurant
From November 14, 2025, the Tokugawaen Garden Restaurant will launch a special seasonal dining experience, the Éclats d’Automne course, perfectly timed with the annual "Momiji Matsuri" (Maple Leaf Festival). This dining event features a unique menu that highlights the exquisite and often elusive "Aichi Duck," renowned for its tenderness and rich flavor.
Celebrating Autumn's Bounty
The term "Éclats d’Automne" translates to "Autumn Sparkles," embodying the vibrant hues of fall through an array of carefully selected ingredients. The course comprises seven dishes, all meticulously crafted to evoke the beauty of autumn leaves.
Dishes use vivid seasonal ingredients such as beets, raspberries, and plums, which not only add color but also represent the seasonal splendor of the Tokugawaen Garden. The star of the menu, the Aichi Duck, is prepared using the rare technique of "Shinkei-jime," enhancing its natural umami and ensuring the meat remains incredibly tender.
Other seasonal delights include "Maple Sea Bream," chestnuts, and persimmons, creating a rich tableau of flavors representative of the fall harvest. The dishes are artfully presented with autumn leaf motifs, allowing guests to experience the essence of the season through sight and taste.
