Experience Toyo University: A Fun Day for Kids
Introduction
On May 30, 2026, Toyo University in Bunkyo City will open its doors for a special event tailored for elementary school students and their parents. The event, organized by Pendemy, a cutting-edge educational company, in collaboration with the NPO Pendemy Digital Education Lab, aims to introduce young minds to the exciting world of university life and sustainability through the SDGs. This innovative program gives children a firsthand look at what university offers, making learning both engaging and accessible.
Why Attend the Open Campus?
Have you ever wondered what makes university life special? This unique open campus experience is designed to answer such questions for children in grades 1 through 6. Participants will engage with current students who serve as ambassadors for Toyo University's SDGs initiatives. The day promises more than just a tour; it’s an opportunity for intellectual curiosity to flourish through interactive learning.
Three Exciting Experiences Await
1.
Campus Exploration with University Guides
Led by current Toyo University students, kids will embark on an informative tour of the White Mountain Campus. They'll visit significant areas like the grand lecture halls that are usually off-limits to visitors, allowing students to physically feel the scales and dimensions of university life.
2.
Participate in a Fun Mock Class on SDGs
The Toyo University SDGs ambassadors will engage participants in a mock class, making complex concepts about sustainability accessible to younger audiences. With interactive slides and quizzes, children will learn what SDGs mean and why a sustainable future is crucial for everyone.
3.
Enjoy Campus Dining
What would a university experience be without a taste of campus life? Attendees will also have the chance to enjoy lunch in the university cafeteria alongside the student ambassadors. This is the perfect opportunity for kids to chat and gain insights about university life from those living it.
