Currently serving as an assistant professor of special education at George Mason University, Dr. Walter combines her prolific academic background with hands-on experience. Dr. Walter’s impressive academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo, alongside a Master of Arts in inclusive elementary education from Columbia's Teachers College. She further pursued her Ed.S. in administration and an Ed.D. in special education from George Washington University. The joys of family life are equally important to her; she is a proud mother of three wonderful children and has been happily married since 2011 to Elon Walter.
