Arcadis Selected for $49 Million USACE Environmental Services Contract in Eastern Europe

Arcadis Awarded Significant Contract from US Army Corps of Engineers

Arcadis, a global frontrunner in sustainable design and engineering, has recently been selected by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Europe District for a multiple award task order contract valued at $49 million. This significant contract aims to facilitate environmental compliance services across various locations in Eastern Europe.

Contract Overview

The contract is an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) agreement set for a five-year period, commencing in September 2025. It encompasses a broad spectrum of environmental services across 26 countries, demonstrating USACE's ongoing dedication to environmental stewardship in the region. Arcadis will kick off this engagement with a Contract Seed Project Task Order focusing on Phase II environmental site investigations located near U.S. military installations in Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria.

Environmental Stewardship

These investigations will be crucial in helping the government comply with environmental regulations and commitments, focusing on the management of air, land, and water resources. Moreover, this contract aligns with both Arcadis' and USACE's sustainability goals, emphasizing the importance of maintaining and enhancing the mission capabilities of U.S. military operations.

Proven Track Record

Arcadis has a longstanding partnership with USACE, having worked on various Environmental and Architect-Engineering Prime contracts over the past 15 years. This history of successful collaboration, combined with Arcadis' highly qualified European staff and their established global presence, positions the firm favorably for executing this complex project.

With operations spanning 20 of the 26 countries involved in the contract, Arcadis is well-equipped to manage multiple task orders simultaneously. The company will mobilize its vast resources, including its team of over 10,500 employees across Europe and its U.S. federal team, to achieve the objectives set forth by USACE.

Commitment to Innovation

Heather Polinsky, Global President for Resilience Mobility at Arcadis, expressed gratitude for the opportunity, stating, "We are honored to partner with the US Army Corps of Engineers on this consequential project that advances environmental stewardship across Eastern Europe. Arcadis brings decades of technical expertise and local insights in delivering complex environmental programs."
