Emmanuelle Migneault Steps Up as Chief Human Resources Officer at Cascades



Cascades Inc. has announced the appointment of Emmanuelle Migneault as their new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective January 5, 2026. Emmanuelle steps into this crucial leadership role as she takes over from Maryse Fernet, who will retire in February 2026 after an esteemed 38-year career at the company, including 18 years overseeing human resources.

A Journey Through Excellence


Emmanuelle Migneault, a graduate of Université Laval with a specialization in human resources and Organizational Information Systems, has been with Cascades since 2001. She began her professional journey as the Director of Human Resources for their succession program. Over the years, Emmanuelle has held significant positions, including Vice President of Human Resources in two of Cascades' business sectors and at the corporate level. Her expertise also extends to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement training.

In November 2024, she advanced to the role of Vice-President, Excellence, where she demonstrated her capability to tackle strategic mandates and lead transformational challenges.
