The Oddities and Curiosities Expo is unlike any other event you've attended. It's a traveling showcase that gathers hundreds of vendors and artists from across the country, all dedicated to celebrating the weird and wonderful. From taxidermy to dark art, and from antique curiosities to handmade oddities, this expo brings together something for everyone curious about the unusual.
Attendees can expect a thrilling shopping experience filled with rare finds. Vendors offer a wide range of items including preserved animal specimens, original Halloween-inspired artwork, skulls, bones, antiques, and so much more. It's a fantastic opportunity to discover unique pieces that can't be found anywhere else.
But the expo isn't just about shopping. Visitors can fully immerse themselves in an atmosphere of curiosity and creativity. Enjoy photo opportunities, tarot readings, and riveting sideshow performances throughout the day, ensuring that entertainment is never in short supply.
Founded by Michelle and Tony Cozzaglio in Oklahoma, the Oddities and Curiosities Expo has gained immense popularity since its inception. Over the years, it has hosted numerous events across North America, showcasing the growing demand for gatherings centered around this unique theme. "We wanted to provide small businesses and artists an arena where they can thrive and connect with others who share their passion for the peculiar," said co-founder Michelle.
The expo stands out with its DIY spirit and commitment to quality. "By collaborating with the best exhibitors available and tailoring each event to meet the desires of our audience, we keep evolving and enhancing the experience for our attendees and our exhibitors alike," Michelle added.
Additionally, the expo offers various classes for those wishing to delve deeper into the arts of taxidermy and entomology. One such class, focused on making a full-sized taxidermy mount, will be held on Saturday for a fee of $225. On Sunday, attendees can participate in beginner entomology classes where they’ll learn about insect pinning for just $150. All classes, conducted by The Sleeping Sirens, include materials and provide a unique educational experience alongside admission to the expo.
It's important to note that ethical sourcing is paramount at the expo. All specimens used in the classes are acquired sustainably and have died of natural causes, ensuring respect for the creatures involved.
Mark your calendars: The Oddities and Curiosities Expo will be open from 10 AM to 6 PM on Saturday and from 10 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. Kids aged 12 and under gain free entry with adult supervision encouraged. For those interested in sampling what this unique event has to offer, visit
