Koganei Beer Festival 2025: A Celebration of Community and Creativity
The upcoming Koganei Beer Festival 2025, taking place from September 5th to September 7th, is set to be a vibrant celebration of local culture and craft beer. Hosted by JR Chuo Line Community Design, this inaugural event aims to promote a new craft beer culture in the region, spurred by the opening of the Central Line Beer Works, the first brewery in Koganei City.
A Showcase of Student Creativity
In a unique collaborative effort, students from Technos College have taken on the creative direction for various promotional materials, including the main visual for the festival and the background music that will be played during the event. The students strive to embody the spirit of Koganei while providing a fun and welcoming atmosphere for attendees of all ages.
Main Visual Design
Designed by Ruki Miyazato from the college’s design department, the festival poster captures the essence of Koganei. With its theme of warmth and approachability, the design uses cool color tones to evoke a refreshing air that helps participants forget the heat of the day. The vibrant poster encapsulates joyful times spent with family and friends, using bright colors and strategic composition to express the exhilarating experience of enjoying craft beer. The design tastefully incorporates local elements, such as symbols of Musashi Koganei Station and the area's natural beauty, making it distinctive and engaging for community members.
Background Music Contribution
The musical backdrop, created by students Kosuke Tanimoto, Shodai Tani, and Hiroto Sugano from the music department, adds another layer of excitement to the festival. Their effort focuses on creating three distinct pop tracks that capture a family-friendly vibe, enabling visitors of all ages to feel the thrill and enjoyment of the event. The music is specifically designed to accompany the aroma of hops and malt, providing guests with a delightful auditory experience.
