Experience Hawaiian Cuisine in Tokyo: Shinagawa Prince Hotel's Gourmet Adventure

Discover the Hawaiian Culinary Journey at Shinagawa Prince Hotel

The Shinagawa Prince Hotel, located in Tokyo's Minato district, is poised to transport guests to the tropical paradise of Hawaii with its upcoming event, "Shin-Puri Gourmet Journey: Hawaiian Fair". This culinary celebration is part of the Hawaiian Fair 2026, taking place from July 16 to September 15, 2026. Over this period, guests will enjoy a sensory adventure through Hawaiian cuisine, with offerings available at three on-site restaurants and a boulangerie.

As international travel gradually recovers, it becomes challenging for many to venture abroad due to rising prices and currency fluctuations. In response to this, the hotel aims to fulfill the desire for travel and new cultural experiences, inviting guests to engage with the sights, sounds, and tastes of Hawaii without leaving Tokyo.

The inspiration for this event stems from the recent extensive renovation of the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii, which is set to reopen in April 2026. As part of this collaborative effort, the Hawaii Prince Hotels will share local recipes and flavors, allowing guests in Shinagawa to relish a gourmet experience that bridges the distance between Japan and the islands of Hawaii.

A Feast for the Senses

The theme for the Hawaiian Fair is "A Culinary Journey for the Senses". Attendees will indulge in dishes that embody the vibrant culture and atmosphere of Hawaii. The menu will feature both local favorites and creatively adapted dishes that highlight the islands' abundant culinary delights. Guests can savor a selection of "Local Menu" items, showcasing traditional Hawaiian recipes, alongside "Adapted Menu" creations that display the hotel's chefs' artistry and skill.
