Exploring Category Strategies in BtoB Marketing at an Exclusive Event

Introduction

On September 26, 2025, the BtoB Marketing Research Association is hosting a special event titled "Exploring Category Strategies and Execution Teams in BtoB Marketing" at the Nippon Life Hamamatsucho Crea Tower in Tokyo. This gathering aims to discuss the importance of strategic execution in BtoB marketing and how to effectively build an execution-oriented organization. With a focus on real-life applications, participants will gain invaluable insights for immediate implementation.

Event Overview

This event celebrates the publication of the book "Category Strategies Practiced by Rapid-Growth Companies," authored by Ryo Taoka. He will join moderator Shohei Toki from EVeN for an engaging discussion. Attendees can expect insights that weren't included in the book, sharing exclusive stories that delve into the intricacies of strategic planning and execution.

Notably, shortly after its release, Taoka's book achieved #1 best-seller status in eight categories on Amazon, including Management Strategy and Marketing & Sales. The positive feedback and high ratings on social media have further raised its profile. Participants will explore the nuances of creating a solid category strategy, the decision-making process involved, and the structures necessary for organizations to drive such strategies to success.

Event Highlights

The overarching theme of this gathering is the consideration of category strategies and execution teams from a BtoB marketing viewpoint. Rather than merely discussing the strategies themselves, the focus will shift to how participants can implement these strategies effectively and what organizational structures are needed to ensure success.

As part of the event, a networking session will take place, allowing marketers from various companies to connect and deepen their relationships. It represents a fantastic opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with peers.
