The rankings were determined by votes from the Academy of over 300 independent cocktail experts, bartenders, educators, and beverage journalists.

The list features an impressive tally of bars from 23 locations throughout North America. The United States leads the way with 29 bars representing cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Albuquerque, Boston, Houston, Miami, New Orleans, and Phoenix. Canada also had a notable presence, contributing 15 establishments from cities like Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Victoria. Mexico’s vibrant bar scene is represented by 5 venues from Mexico City, Oaxaca, and Playa del Carmen.

Notable mentions in the United States include Nickel City in Austin at No. 70, Happy Accidents in Albuquerque at No. 88, and Bandista in Houston at No. 59. The bustling city of Seattle is also represented with bars like Roquette at No. 72 and Canon at No. 79.
Mexico’s lineup features five distinct bars, including Sabina Sabe at No. 54 and Brujas at No. 65, reflecting the diverse and rich flavors of the Mexican bar experience.
