Enhancements to the Ekkyo Circuit Program
Enfactory, Inc., headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has released significant updates to its Ekkyo Circuit cross-border learning program. This program fosters real-world problem-solving among personnel from diverse industries, helping participants to confront actual management challenges faced by startups. The upgrades aim to better address varied training needs and organizational issues, empowering individuals to navigate the complexities of today's VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment.
What is the Ekkyo Circuit?
The Ekkyo Circuit is a three-month program comprising approximately 20 hours of team collaboration among members from different industries. Participants tackle real managerial challenges faced by startups through direct engagement. This immersive setting introduces participants to the mindsets and perspectives of business leaders, fostering personal growth and encouraging the development of shared leadership. Over 270 companies, including major corporations such as Aisin, Orient Corporation, and MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, have already benefitted from the program, with over 660 participants having completed it successfully.
Need for Practical Experience in VUCA Era
In today's rapidly changing world, traditional methods alone cannot equip individuals with the adaptability required to face unforeseen challenges. Enfactory recognizes this need and, through these updates, will enhance the cross-border opportunities available to participants. This approach is designed to empower each individual to design their own life while fostering robust organizational capabilities that can withstand change.
Details of the Recent Updates
1.
In-Person Ekkyo Circuit Released
The Ekkyo Circuit has launched a new in-person version that allows participants to visit the premises of companies facing challenges. This direct interaction enriches participants’ understanding by immersing them in the company’s atmosphere. It fosters initial relationship building among team members and enhances the clarity of the problems they are tackling. In conjunction with this, the traditional online format will now be labeled as the Online Ekkyo Circuit, giving participants the flexibility to choose between in-person and online engagement.
2.
1on1 Coaching Plan Now Available
To ensure that cross-border experiences lead to actionable changes within organizations, Enfactory has introduced a 1on1 coaching plan. After problem identification and follow-up sessions, certified career consultants will conduct two one-on-one meetings based on personalized assessments. This initiative helps participants objectively recognize their capacity for change and strategize on how to integrate insights back into their work environments.
3.
Customized Inter-Department and Inter-Company Engagement
Addressing challenges related to siloed organizations, the program now offers customized plans for fostering collaboration between different departments or group companies. By encouraging internal cooperation alongside external cross-border engagements, the Ekkyo Circuit aims to cultivate a company-wide awareness of challenges and build a solid foundation for mutual understanding and cooperation.
4.
One-Day Startup Leadership Training Launch
Enfactory also introduces a customizable one-day training program that involves discussions with active startup leaders. Participants will engage with experienced executives to gain insights into management dynamics and the mindset required for entrepreneurial success. Flexible arrangements will allow for targeted sessions based on the specific needs of participants, such as leadership development or innovation initiatives.
