In an exciting new collaboration, the PGA TOUR has announced a multi-year marketing partnership with Technics, a prominent brand of Panasonic Holdings Corporation. As of March 2, 2026, Technics has been officially designated as the Official Audio, Official Headphones, and Official Earbuds of both the PGA TOUR and the PGA TOUR Champions. This partnership marks a significant step in enhancing the viewing experience for fans of professional golf.
As part of this agreement, Technics will debut the Technics Sound Deck at select PGA TOUR events, offering spectators a unique opportunity to hear real-time audio from player and caddie conversations on the course. This initiative aligns with feedback from fans, who expressed a desire for more insights into the strategic discussions between golfers and their caddies during competitions. PGA TOUR Executive Vice President Dan Glod emphasized the eagerness of the TOUR to provide fans with closer access to the action.
The Technics Sound Deck aims to create an immersive listening experience in which fans can don Technics' award-winning over-ear headphones, effectively bringing them into the heart of the gameplay. As attendees listen in on the strategies unfolding on the holes, they will also have the opportunity to demo the multi-award-winning Technics AZ100 noise-canceling true wireless earbuds, further showcasing the brand's dedication to superior sound quality.

This initiative represents a continuation of Panasonic's involvement in professional golf, having recently been appointed the Official Projector Partner for the TGL presented by SoFi. By providing cutting-edge projection technology, Panasonic enhances the golf experience on a substantial 64-by-53-foot screen, which is roughly 24 times the size of a typical golf simulator screen.
