Dee Hall's journey in the advertising and media landscape began in the early 1980s. She kick-started her career at the renowned Leo Burnett advertising agency in Chicago, where she quickly distinguished herself through her innovative approach to advertising. After her impactful stint at Leo Burnett, she transitioned to Petry Television, a prominent national broadcast sales organization. There, she established Target Broadcast Group, reflecting her burgeoning passion for promotions and events.

In the years that followed, Dee co-founded Stern Hall, an agency dedicated to national event marketing. This venture allowed her to introduce several Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands to the realms of experiential marketing, which was a relatively new concept at that time. Her commitment to this growing field of marketing eventually led her to launch Hall Event Group, which was later rebranded as FCBX, part of FCB Chicago.

Most recently, Dee held the position of President at Sunflower Group, a member of the Advantage Solutions agency collection. Under her leadership, teams specialized in brand activation and experiential marketing for some of the industry’s largest CPG brands. Her efforts were particularly notable in the field of national marketing and events for major beverage markers, showcasing her versatile skills in marketing leadership.

Dee's career is replete with accolades and recognition within the industry. She has received several awards for her leadership and mentorship, including the coveted Women of Influence Award from the Chicago Business Journal. This honor celebrates women in business who have made significant contributions to their fields while encouraging others along the way. Furthermore, Dee has held prestigious roles as a board member and member of the executive committee for the Brand Activation Association (BAA), a recognized marketing association that has since merged with the ANA (Association of National Advertisers). Her contributions extend further as she co-chaired the ANA Experiential Marketing Committee and co-hosted the REGGIE Awards, celebrations of outstanding marketing campaigns executed by brands and agencies.

With years of experience interpreting the intricacies of marketing, Dee has been featured in notable publications including MEDIAWEEK, BRANDWEEK, Event Marketer Magazine, and DM News. Her leadership has also resulted in numerous award wins in creativity and brand activation at prestigious ceremonies such as the REGGIE's, Event Marketer's Ex Awards, PRO Awards, and Effies.
