In addition to his military service, he held civilian positions at companies like Huntington Ingalls Industries and Camber Corporation, managing intricacies like budget and resource allocation, project oversight, and team leadership.

Ishikawa’s educational background is equally impressive, holding a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, a Master of Science in Management degree from the University of Maryland University College, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
