Huawei Cloud Unveils Global Partner Policy for 2026 in AI Era
Huawei Cloud Launches Global Partner Policy for 2026
On January 22, 2026, in Singapore, Huawei Cloud rolled out its new global partner policy under the motto "Shared Intelligence, Shared Success." This unveiling was led by Charles Yang, Senior Vice President at Huawei and the President of Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales Service. The policy aims to foster a thriving ecosystem of partners that benefits from mutual growth and support amidst the rapid advances in artificial intelligence (AI).
A Strategic Framework for Collaboration
Charles Yang emphasized that the intelligent era presents both significant opportunities and challenges for Huawei Cloud and its partners. The new policy is meticulously designed to build greater trust, improve profitability, simplify collaboration, and drive partner growth.
Huawei Cloud is committed to system-wide innovation, leveraging its potent CloudMatrix supernode for unparalleled AI computing capabilities. With trailblazing Pangu models catering to essential sector scenarios, the MaaS platform further supports a diverse range of models and applications. Alongside comprehensive data management and end-to-end security, these efforts foster a vibrant partner ecosystem, stimulating swift growth among associates.
Key Policy Elements
The details of the policy place a strong emphasis on establishing trust among partners by clearly defining business boundaries and market strategies to eliminate competing interests. These guidelines will remain consistent for the next three years. In a bid to enhance partner profitability, five main policy improvements have been introduced. These include competitive discounts and incentives, reinforced project collaborations to win more initiatives, and optimized branding strategies to attract new customers while expanding partners' market presence.
To streamline collaboration, Huawei Cloud plans to enforce specific guidelines aimed at combating corruption. The Partner Center is set to be upgraded into a seamless one-stop workspace, enhancing collaboration efficiency and ease of use.
Partner growth will be supported through extensive resources, including tiered capabilities and practical incentives. Yang remarked, "Cloud and AI represent a thirty-year marathon that has barely begun," indicating the long-term nature of collaborative partnerships. He underscored the importance of selecting the right partners, stating that a genuine partnership transcends short-term advantages and fosters a long-term alliance.
Growth and Achievement with Partners
Li Shi, President of Huawei Cloud Computing Global Sales, reflected on the successes of the past year, showcasing how Huawei Cloud and its partners have advanced together. In 2025, Huawei Cloud's partner business experienced over fifty percent growth, with a continuously expanding partner list and deepening cooperation. Today, Huawei Cloud boasts a network of more than forty global distributors and fifty core/premier cloud solution suppliers outside China. The ecosystem has surpassed four thousand global partners, serving hundreds of thousands of paying customers.
In its endeavor to enhance trust, profitability, simplicity, and growth, Huawei Cloud has redefined customer account classifications and clarified the responsibilities between Huawei and its partners. The stability of this ecosystem is vital for supporting partners' success through a threefold approach involving incentives, advantages, and regulations. This year, Huawei Cloud is fully upgrading its incentive framework, comprising four key pillars designed to promote holistic growth among partners.
These pillars will enhance partners' visibility on Huawei Cloud's global media matrix, assist them in improving their brand image using more than fifty global benchmarks, provide increased market development funds, and support their promotional efforts while inviting them to participate in Huawei Cloud's own global marketing initiatives.
Regional Opportunities and Future Vision
Dale Chen, Director of Huawei Cloud Asia Pacific Sales Partner Development, outlined how Huawei Cloud is rapidly becoming the leading mainstream public cloud provider in the region, marking itself as a strategic ally for enterprises undergoing digital transformations. Over the last five years, Huawei Cloud in the Asia-Pacific region has maintained a compound annual growth rate exceeding forty percent, with more than half of its revenue stemming from partners. In this region, Huawei Cloud has over fifty financial, two hundred government and enterprise clients, along with five hundred internet and cloud-native customers, serving more than ten countries.
As Huawei Cloud and its partners focus on migrating core financial systems to the cloud, facilitating AI transformation for carriers, and boosting operational efficiency for government and internet clients, the AI Token Service is actively operational in Hong Kong with various open-source models available for immediate use. Relying on its “Platform + Ecosystem” strategy, Huawei collaborates with partners in Asia-Pacific to create new value for various sectors.
During the conference, partners from Thailand (Vonosis), Singapore (Wormwood), Argentina (Movistar), and Turkey (Logosoft) shared testimonials about exploring global markets and achieving growth together.
Through this comprehensive policy rollout, Huawei Cloud is poised to not only support its partners but also redefine the landscape of cloud computing and AI solutions globally, emphasizing a commitment to shared success in an increasingly interconnected world.
