Unreal Fest Tokyo 2026: Overview
The excitement is building as Epic Games Japan has announced the highly anticipated "Unreal Fest Tokyo 2026," set to take place on
November 3 (Tues, National holiday) and November 4 (Wed) at the TFT Building West Wing in Arai, Tokyo. Starting today, registration for participation is open, along with ticket sales for the official after-party, the "Unreal Fest Closing Party," scheduled for November 4.
What is Unreal Fest Tokyo?
Unreal Fest Tokyo is an official free event hosted by Epic Games Japan that brings together creators and developers from various fields such as gaming, film, automotive, architecture, manufacturing, and simulation. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in
Unreal Engine and
Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and exchange ideas with fellow participants. Last year's event saw a record participation of around 1,800 people, setting the stage for what promises to be an even larger gathering this year.
This year, potentially more than 30 top-notch domestic and international developers and creators are expected to lead sessions, covering a broad spectrum of topics. In addition to multiple exhibition spaces sponsored by various companies, there will be indie game corners and a community space called "Unreal Hub" where participants can engage directly with speakers. Furthermore, an "Epic Ecosystem Booth" will showcase the latest technologies including UEFN, MetaHuman, Epic Online Services (EOS), Epic Games Store, and advancements in Unreal Engine, promising a diverse and enriching program.
Event Details
The event will unfold in two segments:
- - November 3: Keynote speeches, various sessions, exhibition booths, and Unreal Hub.
- - November 4: Continuation of sessions, exhibition booths, Unreal Hub, and the official networking party "Unreal Fest Closing Party."
Please note that while attendance for Unreal Fest Tokyo 2026 is free, tickets for the Closing Party are priced at
¥7,700 (tax included), and are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
Satellite Locations
In an effort to reach participants who cannot attend the main event in Tokyo, Epic Games is continuing the previous year's initiative by offering streaming options for satellite locations across the country. These sites will enable attendees to watch the event live, facilitating interactions and discussions among local participants. Various groups, including community organizations, educational institutions, and companies, are encouraged to host these satellite gatherings.
This initiative ensures that everyone can partake in the Unreal Fest experience nationwide, connecting Unreal Engine communities in varied locales.
