The Adecco Group Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

The Adecco Group, a global leader in talent and technology expertise, has announced the appointment of Valentina Ficaio as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2026. This strategic move comes after the departure of Coram Williams, who has chosen to return to the automotive sector in Germany.

Valentina, an accomplished financial leader with a deep understanding of the Adecco Group’s operations, joined the company in 2019 as CFO for Iberia. Since then, she has climbed the ranks, becoming regional CFO for a broad region spanning Southern and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Northern Africa, and most recently served as Group Senior Vice President of Finance. Her educational background includes a degree in Business and Managerial Economics from Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, solidifying her expertise in the financial realm.

Denis Machuel, the CEO of Adecco Group, expressed his support for Ficaio's appointment, highlighting her comprehensive knowledge of the business and her strong financial acumen. He noted that this transition marks an important phase in the company’s journey, one that will drive long-term value creation for stakeholders. Machuel praised Williams’ contributions over the past five years, which included significant transformations within the company.

Coram Williams, who has been with the company since 2020, reflected on his experiences, stating, “It has been a privilege to be the CFO of this great company and I am proud of the transformation that I have been a part of.” He emphasized the importance of family and personal passions as he transitions back to the automotive industry.

Valentina Ficaio expressed her excitement about taking on the CFO role, emphasizing the meaningful impact the Adecco Group has on the lives of millions. She stated, “Having been part of Coram's leadership team in recent years, I look forward to the continued collaboration with a strong team, as we continue to transform in line with accelerated market developments.”

Ficaio will collaborate closely with Machuel and the executive committee as they aim to cultivate an environment where employees can thrive, prioritize profitable growth, and create shareholder value in a rapidly changing work landscape. Her commitment to driving innovation and enhancing operational efficiencies is set to redefine the company's strategic approach moving forward.

The Adecco Group operates with a mission to make the future of work beneficial for everyone through its three global business units: Adecco, Akkodis, and LHH, catering to various sectors across more than 60 countries. The organization remains dedicated to fostering sustainable employment and supporting resilient economies and communities.
