SI Solutions, LLC Expands Nuclear Energy Services
In a strategic move to strengthen its offerings in the nuclear energy sector, SI Solutions, LLC (SIS) has successfully acquired Radiological Solutions, Inc. (RSI). This acquisition promises to enhance SIS’s capabilities in advanced plant chemistry, radiological controls, radiation safety, and operational performance.
With the acquisition, SIS’s engineering division, Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA), will gain from RSI's extensive technical knowledge in key areas including water chemistry optimization, gamma scanning, and radiation dose management. These enhancements are aimed at ensuring safer and more efficient operations for nuclear facilities globally.
Mike Battaglia, Senior Vice President of Engineering Services and Chief Nuclear Officer at SIA, expressed enthusiasm about the merger. He remarked, “The alignment between our two companies is remarkable,” emphasizing how RSI's established presence and expertise will complement SIA’s existing offerings. This synergy is expected to deliver a broader array of asset management solutions to the nuclear power industry, improving both efficiency and effectiveness.
