Farizon SV Nominated for International Van of the Year 2026

The newly designed electric van, Farizon SV, has distinguished itself as a finalist for the prestigious International Van of the Year (IVOTY) award for 2026. This notable acknowledgment comes just ahead of the grand announcement of the overall winner, scheduled for November 19 at the Solutrans Expo in Lyon, France.

Evaluation by Industry Experts

A panel of judges consisting of representatives from 26 countries conducted a thorough evaluation of numerous new light commercial vehicles (LCVs) that have entered global markets this year. In making their decision, the judges took into account the vehicle's contribution to high standards of efficiency and safety, among several key factors. The selection of Farizon SV reflects the growing trend of innovation and the emergence of new players in this segment, promising fresh solutions powered by emission-free technologies.

Jarlath Sweeney, the chairman of the IVOTY award, emphasized the exciting developments occurring in the industry. He noted, "New players with innovative thinking are entering the market, creating new segments and providing cutting-edge solutions, all thanks to technology that minimizes emissions. The presence of these new brands in the competition alongside well-established names complicates our voting process even further."
