Dive Into the World of Ramen
Kitchen Tech Co., Ltd., led by CEO Kazumitsu Morishita, is set to host a much-anticipated two-day Ramen School in Osaka this December. This immersive experience, which began gaining popularity last year, allows participants to learn the art of ramen-making from soup preparation to plating, all in a single day.
The workshop, lasting about four hours, covers various essential topics, including cost-saving techniques and the intricacies of soup-making. A highlight of the session will be the use of a pressure cooker to make a rich chicken broth in less than two hours. This method streamlines the cooking process, significantly reducing utility costs and labor expenses. Additionally, the way the pressure cooker operates minimizes evaporative losses, leading to higher yields of broth.
But the Ramen School offers more than just technical training; it serves as a platform for aspiring ramen chefs to connect with like-minded individuals who share similar dreams and challenges. Participants will be able to foster friendships and build a supportive community, making the overall experience even more enriching.
What to Expect on the Day
Participants will enjoy a well-rounded agenda, which includes:
- - Live Demonstration of Soup Preparation: Learn the secrets behind crafting a flavorful broth using innovative techniques.
- - Hands-on Homemade Noodle Making: Experience the satisfaction of creating your own noodles from scratch using a noodle-making machine.
- - Comparison of Char Siu Preparations: Discover the difference between cooking methods using a steamer and pressure cooker for perfect char siu.
- - Tasting of Finished Ramen: Sample the delicious ramen you've prepared, putting your new skills to the test.
The event will take place at the Fukushima Galilei Co., Ltd. showroom located in Nishiyodogawa, Osaka. It is conveniently accessible, just a four-minute walk from Kashima Station on the JR Kobe Line.
