Caribbean Latin America Street Executive Committee, led by Junichiro Mori from Meguro, Tokyo, is excited to announce the
Salsa Street 2025 - Ueno de Bueno event happening on
October 4th and 5th at the
Fountain Square in Ueno Park, Tokyo. This year marks an important milestone as it is the
10th anniversary of Salsa Street, with Ueno Park serving as the thrilling third venue.
Celebrating the rich and diverse culture of Latin America and the Caribbean, Salsa Street embodies the concept of
salsa, which translates to sauce in English. Just as salsa is a mixture of various ingredients like vegetables, fruits, and spices, this festival promotes cross-cultural interconnections among people of all nationalities, ages, and genders through vibrant food, dance, and music.

The charismatic
Latin Samurai will serve as the event MC, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere throughout the festival.
With 2025 marking the
90th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and five Central American countries, the event is part of the
Japan-Central America Exchange Year, with goals to deepen cultural exchanges supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
