According to JC Pan, Head of BenQ Corporation’s Business Division, "Our journey started with advanced desk lamps, but what we’re creating goes beyond mere objects. It’s about solving real challenges through light, enhancing people’s work and life experiences, and improving moments of comfort. As 'light engineers,' we will continue to elevate the quality of life by harnessing the power of science and innovation." This statement encapsulates BenQ's dedication to producing user-centric, high-quality lighting solutions.
Addressing Visibility and Comfort Needs
BenQ’s
Smart Lighting series is built around the principle of providing eye-friendly illumination that adapts to various life scenarios. Since the launch of the
ScreenBar® series in 2017, which was tailored for modern desk environments focusing on screen use, the company has expanded its product range to include study lamps and lighting modes for tablets, ensuring a comprehensive approach to smart lighting.
Lighting serves multiple purposes beyond merely illuminating spaces. Each setting and task demands different roles from lighting, especially in our screen-dominated world. Insufficient illumination at hand or distractions caused by reflections can contribute to unconscious stress during prolonged work sessions. Whether it’s studying in a child’s room, reading sheet music while playing the piano, or illuminating a work desk, lighting must be selected wisely to ensure comfort and productivity.
In 2026, BenQ, under the concept of "The Light at Hand", aims to broaden its brand value in the interior lighting category, which supports not only gadgets but also lifestyle scenes. The exhibition will publically debut several new products including
MindDuo® Max (available from October 2026),
NookLight® (available from October 2026), and
PianoLight® Grand (available from April 2026).
