EZVIZ Strengthens Its Green Initiative with a Week of Awareness Campaigns

EZVIZ Enhances Its Green Initiative With an Environmental Awareness Campaign

EZVIZ, a global leader in smart home technology, is set to launch an exciting phase of its EZVIZ Green Initiative with a week-long environmental awareness campaign. This endeavor coincides with two significant global observances: World Environment Day and World Oceans Day. The company is collaborating with notable organizations—Treedom, a leading platform in tree planting, and Plastic Bank, which focuses on ocean protection—to amplify its commitment to sustainability.

Under the motto "Clean, Conserve, Coexist," EZVIZ aims to engage partners and customers in collective actions that address climate resilience and ocean conservation. Joanne Cao, the Secretary of the Board at EZVIZ, emphasized the initiative’s dual focus on ecological vitality that benefits both humans and other living beings.

Cao stated, "Through our projects working alongside Treedom and Plastic Bank, we seek to involve local communities and balance environmental protection with economic value." This aligns closely with the United Nations' calls for healing the relationship between humanity and the Earth. By creating a positive cycle where people thrive thanks to healthy ecosystems, EZVIZ contributes to fostering sustainable development, consistent with its commitment as a signatory of the UN Global Compact (UNGC) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In this new phase of the EZVIZ Green Initiative, the focus expands from terrestrial environments to marine ecosystems through initiatives with Treedom and Plastic Bank. Collaborating with Treedom, EZVIZ supports local farmers in planting trees, integrating agriculture and forestry in eleven countries. This project is expected to reduce over 738.2 tons of CO₂ in the coming decade and surpass 6,000 trees by 2027, thereby enhancing food security and economic development in participating communities. The program’s reach will extend to more regions in Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa, targeting key ecological areas such as Ecuador, which is crucial in mitigating climate change.

On the marine front, through its partnership with Plastic Bank, EZVIZ is tackling plastic pollution by mobilizing collectors worldwide who earn incentives for gathering bottles for recycling. Since its inception, this collaboration has facilitated the recycling of over one million bottles, prevented 20,000 kg of plastic from polluting oceans, and generated social benefits for gatherers across 29 communities. In 2026, EZVIZ will focus its efforts in Southeast Asia, recognized as one of the world’s regions with extensive coastlines and archipelagos, to establish systems for collecting and recycling plastic, aiming to boost marine biodiversity and enhance the economic stability of coastal communities.

In addition to external partnerships, EZVIZ is committed to integrating sustainable innovation into its production processes. The company has launched a new range of 4G battery-operated cameras designed to minimize energy consumption without compromising security. Furthermore, it is continuously working on improving wildlife detection technologies, providing greater protection not only to users but also to the environment.

Through these initiatives, EZVIZ is paving the way for a sustainable future, where technology harmoniously coexists with nature, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in fostering a resilient ecosystem for future generations.
