Participation of Seiji Kushibe

To commemorate the launch, Seiji Kushibe, head coach of the Josai University Men's Ekiden team, will join as a respondent on Runvox. A recognized long-distance runner from his active years, Kushibe's career highlights include winning the 3000m steeplechase at the National High School Championships in 1989, where he set a Japanese high school record that remained unbroken for nearly 30 years. His accolades further include victories in the All Japan University Championships and contributing to his team's overall success in the 69th Hakone-Ekiden.

In his professional career, Kushibe has also excelled with S&B Foods, winning championships and representing Japan at the Asian Games in the 5000m event. Now, as the coach at Josai University, he has cultivated numerous elite runners based on scientifically-crafted training theories and has established the university as a powerhouse in the competitive collegiate circuits.

Through Runvox, he will share insights into training techniques, race strategy, and athlete development with runners nationwide.
