Mynd.ai Announces Leadership Transition

Mynd.ai, Inc. (Mynd or the Company) has made headlines today with its announcement regarding a major leadership transition. Effective October 11, 2026, Arthur Giterman, who holds the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, will be stepping down. This news comes in light of the Company’s evolving strategy and growth ambitions.

Following Mr. Giterman’s departure, Bin Shen will take over the roles of Chief Executive Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer, and he will formally begin his new responsibilities on October 12, 2026. As Mynd.ai embarks on this new phase, the Board has indicated intentions to appoint a permanent CFO after a thorough search process.

Bin Shen is widely recognized as a leader in the technology sector, with a career spanning multiple realms including artificial intelligence, software, and cloud computing. His most recent role was at EchoStar Corporation, where he served as Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions. In this capacity, he led several strategic investments while focusing on growth initiatives across various high-tech fields such as aviation, enterprise AI, and advanced manufacturing. Mr. Shen's previous experiences also include significant positions at Microsoft, where he oversaw global cloud and AI partnerships, and at Verizon, where he developed digital ecosystem strategies. With an MBA from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor’s in Finance from Golden Gate University, Mr. Shen brings a wealth of knowledge that positions him well to lead Mynd.ai toward its future goals.

He revamped the Company's operational strategies, which led to improved efficiency and agility within the organization, laying a solid foundation for future growth.

Upon his exit from operational roles, Arthur Giterman will transition into an advisory capacity for the Board of Directors. This new role will see him providing strategic insights and facilitating a smooth transition for the incoming leadership team.
