Toyota Mobility Foundation and the University of Tokyo Launch Workshop to Help Students Discover Their Passions

Uncover Your Passions: A Workshop by Toyota Mobility Foundation

The Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMF), led by Akio Toyoda, has partnered with the University of Tokyo’s One Earth Guardians (OEGs) to launch an inspiring initiative called "Good Life on Earth." This program aims to empower students, particularly high schoolers and college freshmen and sophomores, to discover their passions through an engaging workshop titled "Finding What You Love | Career Acceleration Program SPARK."

In today's world, when the term "career" is mentioned, people often think about jobs, qualifications, and skills. However, a career should ultimately reflect one's way of life. This workshop encourages participants to pause, reflect inwardly, and take the first step toward identifying and pursuing what they truly enjoy.

Why Attend?

Even if you find yourself uncertain about what you love or about your future, this workshop is designed for you. It focuses on helping you understand your current state and visualize the next steps you can take.

Workshop Structure: KNOW → THINK → ACT

The program progresses through three essential steps:

1. KNOW | Broadening Horizons

Participants will learn about the diversity of life paths that exist and how to find what they are passionate about. This stage emphasizes the realization that there is no single correct way to navigate life.

2. THINK | Self-Reflection

By engaging in thought-provoking activities, participants will question, analyze, and articulate their own identity. Discussion and interaction with peers will further deepen their understanding of personal goals and aspirations.

3. ACT | Communicate and Implement

Participants will be encouraged to share their thoughts with others and translate their insights into actionable steps, paving the way for their journey ahead.

Who Should Join

The workshop is particularly suited for those who:
  • - Want to discover their true passions and interests.
  • - Are looking to reflect on their life beyond just employment titles or job status.
  • - Seek to clarify their thoughts through collaborative discussions.
