Dacon Corporation, alongside VMD Companies, recently commemorated a significant construction milestone for the new indus headquarters with a ceremonial cross beam signing in Middleborough, Massachusetts. Rich Goodick, President of indus, expressed his satisfaction with having Dacon and VMD on board. The new indus headquarters spans 96,500 square feet and marks a significant relocation and expansion from Braintree to Middleborough, Massachusetts. The purpose-built facility will comprise office space for around 50 employees, along with training rooms, locker rooms, and warehouse space for critical building materials. Notably, it will also feature a 14-bay maintenance and repair shop, designed specifically to service the essential oversized trucks and equipment used in indus's pavement repair operations.

The site preparation was particularly challenging, as it was formerly a cranberry bog, necessitating extensive earthwork to bring the land up to grade. Implementing dynamic soil compaction techniques helped facilitate the necessary bearing requirements for the construction phase.
