HASC Louisiana Expands Safety Training Services with New Brusly Location
On December 2, 2025, the Health and Safety Council (HASC®) officially unveiled its latest location in Brusly, Louisiana. This expansion aims to provide vital safety training and occupational health services for the growing industrial workforce in West Baton Rouge. The new facility is strategically positioned at 400 W. St. Francis Street, making it more accessible to local industries.
The new Brusly branch enhances access to
Safety Essentials®, a nationally recognized orientation program for contractors, alongside site-specific training and occupational health services. It also incorporates
NABSC-approved drug and alcohol screening through
HASC OmniScreening™ services. By utilizing the integrated LINK® digital platform, this location is designed to help businesses ensure their workers remain site-ready throughout their employment lifecycle, ultimately minimizing delays encountered during gate access.
Sarita Scheufens, the President of HASC Louisiana, emphasized the importance of keeping pace with Louisiana's industrial growth. She stated, “Our role is to ensure that the workforce evolves at the same speed as innovation.” As a nonprofit organization, HASC Louisiana is committed to reinvesting resources into initiatives that prioritize job-site readiness and foster a long-term, positive impact on the community.
Open House Celebration
To mark the occasion, HASC Louisiana hosted an Open House on the day of the unveiling, which included guided tours of the new facility, live music, refreshments, and networking opportunities. This event provided a platform for industry partners and community leaders to witness firsthand how HASC is instrumental in supporting workforce development, safety performance, and operational readiness across the state. Attendees were encouraged to RSVP for this complimentary event through HASC's official website.
Continuous Regional Expansion
HASC Louisiana has demonstrated impressive growth within the Gulf Coast region, driven by increasing industry demand. Its operational headquarters in Sulphur serves as the backbone for the organization’s Louisiana efforts. The opening of the Brusly location follows the establishment of new branches in Gonzales and plans for another training center in LaPlace later this year.
Leadership Development
As part of its ongoing commitment to operational excellence, HASC Louisiana announced the appointment of

LeBlanc will relocate from Texas to take on this vital role, directing operational growth and new site developments.
