Bentley Takes Center Stage at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025
The Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025, held from July 10 to 13, marked a monumental occasion for Bentley Motors as it unveiled its largest exhibition to date. The centerpiece was a two-storey stand, constructed with over 200 tons of steel and covering an impressive 500 square meters, offering a unique hospitality experience to more than 200,000 attendees.
At this prestigious event, Bentley made a grand entrance with the debut of the new Bentayga Speed and the Bacalar Convertible, showcasing their commitment to luxury and performance. Over 30 Bentley vehicles congregated in West Sussex specifically for this occasion, with five cars making thrilling runs during the hill climb event, while three others participated as course cars and ride-along experiences.
In total, 18 cars facilitated smooth transportation for over 400 guests, media representatives, and VIPs throughout the four-day festival. This logistical excellence highlighted Bentley's dedication to providing a comprehensive experience to all attendees.
In front of the stand, three latest models were prominently displayed for guests to interact with freely. The striking orange-framed Continental GT Speed, featuring a newly developed carbon styling specification and an Akrapovic titanium sports exhaust, drew considerable attention with its commanding presence. The Black Crystal Flying Spur, in Black Edition trim, showcased mandarin-colored brake calipers peeking through its dark 22-inch wheels, making for an eye-catching detail.
The Storm Grey Satin Bentayga S Black Edition demonstrated the craftsmanship of Bentley's Crew team, requiring 55 hours of manual labor for its satin finish, complemented by distinctive Kelein Blue detailing.
Inside the stand, live demonstrations showcased the meticulous craftsmanship involved in producing hand-stitched steering wheels and wood panel construction, giving visitors a firsthand glimpse into Bentley's artisanal techniques. Further enhancing the experience, a boutique offered guests the opportunity to explore and purchase items from the 'Bentley Collection' on-site.
As the renowned hill climb featured several of Bentley's latest models racing down the 1.2-mile course, the Bacalar (in Scarab Green), as the first modern coach-built car, led the charge, followed by the world debut of the Bathtub convertible and the new Continental GT Speed.
Vehicle performances in the Supercar and First Glance batches included two Speed models, such as the Bentayga, driven by members of Bentley's chassis and powertrain development teams, manifesting their confidence in the products.
The Bentley Bentayga Black Edition, embodying the brand's philosophy of 'The Essence of Opposites', ran a special course just six days after serving as transportation for the final performance of Black Sabbath. Also making their debut were the limited-production models of the Bentley Speed Six Continuation Series alongside the Flying Spur Speed.
Bentley's participation in this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed not only highlighted their innovative designs but also reinforced their legacy as a pinnacle of automotive excellence, attracting enthusiasts from around the globe, eager to witness the perfect fusion of luxury, performance, and craftsmanship.
