Dress Code Launches GA Operation Core for Streamlined Administration Processes

Dress Code Introduces GA Operation Core

Dress Code Inc., headquartered in Chuo City, Tokyo, has launched a new product dubbed GA Operation Core, the latest addition to its GA Force series that aims to automate and streamline various administrative procedures. With this product, they are focusing on improving employee experiences while simultaneously lessening the workload on administration departments.

Background

Many companies have made strides in digital transformation (DX), primarily in areas such as human resources and accounting. However, the administrative sector often finds itself lagging behind, which is evident in its slow pace of digitalization. The extensive scope and diversity of administrative tasks contribute to the absence of appropriate solutions capable of comprehensively covering these functions. As a result, several challenges have emerged in environments where DX has not been properly implemented:

  • - Variety of Application Channels: Requests are often distributed across channels like email, verbal communication, and paper, leading to missed requests and delays in response.
  • - Inconsistent Input: The lack of a standardized format results in frequent omissions and requests for revision.
  • - Lack of Transparency: The approval process lacks clarity, leading to delays caused by absent approvers or stagnation. Consequently, employees frequently have to check the progress of their requests.
  • - Efficiency Issues from Reliance on Paper and Seals: Maintaining both digital and paper systems leads to double management and unnecessary costs.
  • - Insufficient Audit Trails: There is a scarcity of records detailing who approved what and when, making audits a cumbersome task.

These challenges not only increase workload for administrative personnel but also lead to a decline in employee experiences and pose internal control risks. The launch of GA Operation Core aims to address these inefficiencies in application and procedure handling.

Product Overview

GA Operation Core is designed to manage the diverse array of administrative applications and procedures through a single platform. By processing employee requests, approvals, and executions within a workflow, it standardizes business processes. This product transitions administrative functions from traditional reliance on paper, Excel, and email to a fully digital system, enhancing both efficiency and transparency. By integrating this solution with the Equipment Management system, data and procedures are seamlessly linked, facilitating not only improved efficiency but also cost reductions by minimizing excess inventory and bolstering internal controls against misuse.

Key Features

Initially, GA Operation Core supports procedures such as business card application requests, equipment usage applications, and reports on damaged or lost equipment:

  • - Business Card Application: Employees can easily request business card creation based on their registered information in the HR database, simplifying the input process. Customizations for titles and other details are also available.
  • - Equipment Usage Application: This function allows employees to apply for equipment loans and allocations from a predetermined list maintained by the administration, thus centralizing requests and preventing issues related to form submission.
  • - Report on Damage or Loss of Equipment: When equipment that has been loaned or installed is damaged or lost, employees can report it through a unified system, minimizing reliance on informal communication methods.

The launch of this beta version will allow Dress Code to gather user feedback for further improvements. Future development plans include expanding the range of supported administrative tasks and enhancing the flexibility of workflows.

About Dress Code

Dress Code is a workforce management platform designed to eliminate structural friction related to people and processes. Traditionally, systems across various departments like HR, information systems, and administration function separately, resulting in inefficiencies due to isolated operations and unnecessary duplications of effort. The platform is built on a common architecture and core database, facilitating information integration across departments, and optimizing business processes. Presently, the company is rolling out three series of products: HR Force, IT Force, and GA Force, with plans to expand to six series covering recruitment, project management, and governance tasks in the future.
