About the Special Guests


Takahiro Araki, born in 1987 in Toyama, rose to fame as a utility player for the Tokyo Swallows after being drafted the third round in 2010. He achieved a remarkable feat by earning a place as a rookie starter in the season opener. Known for his speed, skill, and influential batting performance, he announced his retirement from professional baseball in September 2023.

Tsuyoshi Ueda, born in 1988 in Okayama, also joined the Tokyo Swallows after being drafted in 2006. His career highlights include impressive statistics and achievements such as 55 stolen bases in the 2011 season. Ueda announced his retirement in December 2020 and continues to engage the audience through coaching and media appearances.
