Discover Your Unique Path with VCP for LIFE PROJECT 2026
Musashino Art University (MUAD), located in Koganei, Tokyo, has officially opened enrollment for its innovative program targeted at working adults: the
VCP for LIFE PROJECT 2026. Launching with a public talk event titled
“What is LIFE PROJECT? Designing Your Uniqueness.” set to occur on May 12, 2026, at the Ichigaya Campus, this initiative encourages personal growth through art and design.
The
VCP for LIFE PROJECT is designed for individuals who wish to reimagine their lives and careers by combining their unique experiences with the artistic and design principles honed at MUAD. This program offers participants the opportunity to conceptualize their own pathways while connecting with their communities and engaging in social practices. The curriculum includes a mix of lectures, creative projects, dialogues, and an immersive three-day fieldwork experience focused in Susami Town, Wakayama Prefecture, and the participants' own communities.
At the core of this program lies the concept of
LIFE PROJECT, which emphasizes leveraging personal values and interests to enrich one's work, life, hobbies, and community activities, ultimately transforming these into socially engaged practices. The upcoming public talk will delve into this concept's essence in its first segment, while the second segment will showcase case studies from participants of the
VCP for LIFE PROJECT 2025. Attendees can expect to dive deep into the questions,
“What do you cherish in life?” and
“How can you translate this into your work and activities?”
This event is tailored for those who feel a calling yet are unsure how to materialize their aspirations. Whether you seek to clarify your values in the workplace or daily life, aspire to anchor your endeavors on your unique perspectives, or wish to initiate community-connected projects but feel paralyzed by inaction, this talk aims to help you recognize and nurture the budding projects within you.
